SEASIDE MYSTERY

Near the Emperor's Villa. Beach-combing in Hayama, I find time-worn, tide-worn fragments of stone, glass, bone, and ceramic. They tell stories of vast, mysterious journeys over land and sea. They speak of cherished comfort, disruption, and the unknown.
