There’s an atmosphere of theatrical anticipation before the cast arrives backstage. Costumes, props, signage, and sound-makers for an imaginary cosmic Neighbor production to promote goodwill.
It’s a provocative comedy of occurrences and absurdities, with story, cast, costumes, props based on real life.

Diversity of color, texture, material, and stitching styles. Many costumes have patches that signify creative effort and durability in relationships between people, cultures, and nations.
A collage of found objects, textiles, and stitchery. Most Neighbor sculptures have visible threads to signify human to human connections; rust to draw attention to cultural concepts of beauty and aging; and mirror fragments that remind us to see ourselves in each other.
